Thank you to all who submitted plays for consideration for the 11th Annual Bay One Acts Festival! We are thrilled with the quality of submissions and are excited to start the selection process.

Final program determinations will be made by December 1, 2011.

Each year the San Francisco based month-long Bay One Acts Festival plays host to an average of 10 original short plays written by local playwrights and produced by the best and brightest independent theatre companies in the Bay Area.

BOA 11 will take place at the Boxcar Theater in San Francisco, CA April 22 – May 6.

Our Submission Period is now open. The submission period for BOA11 opens June 1 and closes September 15, 2011.

Short plays between 5 minutes and 30 minutes in length will be considered. Playwrights must be San Francisco Bay Area residents (Counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara). Plays may have previous production history; please note in submission letter. Priority is given to unproduced work. BOA produces adventurous and innovative original new short work of all genres.

Final program determinations will be made by December 1, 2011. No early or late entries will be accepted.
